This song is about reflecting on the years I lived in Ottawa when I lived with 4 of my friends and the lessons we learned and how I grew up from the experience. It's a necessary step in the lives of many and I'm glad I learned it when I did. It's also a message to cherish the moments you have while they pass because you may not realize how good they are until they're over

We were raised by our parents but this is where we grew up
Our new life was an adventure and we experienced it together
